India’s first garbage cafe soon to be started in Ambikapur (Chattisgarh)

A Nobel initiate towards recycling plastics…

City’s Municipal Corporation will give food to the poor and homeless in exchange for plastic. A free meal will be provided to a person who will come with 1kg of plastic from the streets. For half kg of plastic, they will be given free snacks.

This is a great step taken by the municipal party which will bring a change towards #environment.

I would like to explain five benefits of this scheme —

1. Poor people will get food easily. Because 10 million people die every year of chronic hunger and hunger-related diseases- Bhook
2. And the fact is 3,000 children die of malnutrition in the country every day. Hindustan times
3. Plastic is a major cause of environmental pollution, several animals die just because to eat plastic and poly bags. We found some earth heroes who are working to save the environment like Afroz Shah, who cleaned Versova beach. This is another step to recycle plastic.
4. This will clean plastic garbage on the road because according to scheme people get food when they come with 1 kg plastic.

People in Sweden arose a new trend, they pick plastic bottles and bags and called it “plogging”. It a kind of fitness trend, where people run, and while running they pick plastic bags, bottle and start running again. People who want to save the planet do such kind of activity. Is it intresting.

So we are appreciating the initiative by Ambikar which surely bring changes in the environment and along with these, they are planning a great step towards backward and needy people. GREAT.
